Guardians 4 Kenyan Kids UK was established this year (2024) as a result of our first visit to Kenya in April 2023, returning again in January this year, when we volunteered as a group at a children's rescue home. Upon returning to Kenya the following year, we soon realised that we needed to do even more to help the underprivileged children there. With our mission, we aim to give the children of Kenya the opportunity & hope to escape poverty by providing them with the fundamental necessities, healthcare and most importantly an education to help them achieve their full potential and break the cycle of poverty!
At Guardians 4 Kenyan kids UK, we believe that building a strong and supportive community is key to our success. That's why we've created a platform that puts children first, and fosters a sense of belonging and safety within the community.
To give the children of Kenya a chance for change by giving them access to education, health services, food, water & clothing while providing them with a safe loving home!

Guardians 4 Kenyan Kids UK is a beacon of hope for the vulnerable children living as orphans on the streets of Kenya. As a newly established small, registered charity, we are resolute in our mission to alleviate the pressing needs of these destitute children. We are dedicated to providing essential healthcare, education, accommodation, and nourishment to these vulnerable street children.
The plight of these children is a heart-wrenching reality that cannot be ignored. Over 3 million children live on the harsh streets from as young as 4 -16 years of age, 70% of which are addicted to Glue! The consequences are devastating. Glue sniffing causes hallucinations, and delusions, they stop eating, lose weight & some eventually die! They are deprived of the love, care, and support that every child deserves.
Our mission is to bring a ray of hope into their lives, to give them a chance to dream, learn, and thrive. With the absence of governing support for these vulnerable children, the burden of their welfare falls on our shoulders. We refuse to let them be forgotten, discarded, or left to fend for themselves!
We firmly believe that breaking the chain of poverty begins with empowering these children through rehabilitation & education.
By helping them access recovery services and education, we aim to open doors to a brighter future. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute positively to society, and we are determined to provide them with that opportunity.
Our dedication to the cause is unwavering. After two impactful visits last year and this year, we witnessed first-hand the sadness and desperation of these young children! We are preparing to return in January next year. During this visit, we aim to establish rehabilitation services and food banks, also to focus on rescuing the most vulnerable children from the streets. This will involve critical actions such as meeting with local village chiefs, pastors, visiting orphanages, and identifying suitable school placements.
Additionally, we are committed to daily feeding programs, ensuring that around 100 street children receive nourishing meals to sustain them through their challenging circumstances.
Furthermore, our efforts extend beyond mere sustenance. We are devoted to placing these children into secure accommodation and securing their school enrolment. It is our heartfelt belief that these actions are essential in reshaping their destinies, giving them a chance to rise above their current predicament and build a future filled with promise and opportunity.
The impact of our work reverberates not just through the lives of these vulnerable children, but also through the wider community. By advocating for the welfare of at-risk children, we are sowing the seeds of positive change that will enrich the fabric of society. Aiding 100 children today means impacting 100 families tomorrow, ultimately uplifting the entire community. The positive ripple effect of our actions is immeasurable and extends far beyond the boundaries of the Kenyan streets.
However, none of this is feasible without much-needed support. We earnestly seek your assistance in our noble cause. Your generous donations will directly contribute to our efforts in rescuing, rehabilitating, nurturing, and educating these vulnerable children. Together, we can be the turning point in these children's lives, offering them a chance to break free from the cycle of poverty and pave their path to a brighter, more promising future.
Join us in our mission to be the guardians of hope for Kenyan children. Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a profound impact on the lives of these deserving children. Let's stand together in our commitment to making a difference and being the beacon of light in the lives of those who need it the most.
